PRE-WALK INFO: (If supplied) Walk leader's description of start point/general information about route.

This is a new area to me & totally different to anywhere I've walked before. It is a flat walk & all except 1 mile is by water.

To get to Wilfholme bridge go up Staxton Hill & continue on the B1249 to the Driffield Bypass. Turn R on the bypass (A164) & at the second roundabout (by the Rugby Club) turn L . At the next roundabout go R (still the A164 signed to Beverley). Continue on this road through Hutton Cranswick & Watton & take the next L turn signposted Wilfholme. Follow this road to the end . Go over the bridge & park on the LHS . The journey from Scarborough takes about 1 hour.
