Wednesday March 18th, Working Party at Danby Lodge , led by Ray Johnson |
|
Five members joined ranger Beth Ghest at Danby Lodge visitor Centre , where their task was to dismantle a rotting boardwalk and prepare for installation of a new timber retained aggregate path. This involved cutting away over hanging branches and growth on the ground and then the very physical task of removing the boards and the supporting timbers. By the time this was completed all were well and truly cream-crackered and happy to call in at the Bridge Inn to rehydrate on the way home. |
